Day trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and travel in a modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned car via Safaga along the newly improved desert road. After approximately 225 km, you will reach the Nile Valley at Qena. Along the way, you will stop at a rest area for a break, to stretch your legs, or to use the restroom.
After a short break, the journey continues along the densely populated country road to Luxor (approx. 60 km). During the drive, you will see many small and large towns and villages and gain insights into typical Egyptian daily life.
Upon arrival in Luxor, your adventure begins. After a short break for refreshments, you will visit the largest temple complex in the world, including the impressive Hypostyle Hall. Afterwards, the bus will take you to Thebes West, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch.
After lunch, you'll explore the world-famous Valley of the Kings and visit the impressive royal tombs.
